These trees make great privacy hedges, Windbreaks and great Christmas trees, Native to the SE United States. Very hardy and tolerate a wide range of soil types. Quick growing! Disease resistant.
Plant several rows for maximum privacy. Spacing should be 8-12 feet for privacy fence. It depends on how quickly they want it to fill in. Long term it is better with wider spacing because they will get really big.
The best way is to plant two rows with wider spacing but alternate planting the second row so the centers of first row have a tree on second row.
