Pindo Palms/Jelly Palms

 Check out this beautiful bloom spike on one of my Pindo Palms. The  orange sheath covers the bloom spike as it comes out and opens. The tiny  green dates you see will grow into bright yellow edible fruit by mid  summer. They are great for making jelly. That’s why the common name for  this palm is Jelly Palm.  

Here is a Pindo palm bloom. Later in the summer there will be tasty orange dates along the stem. They are great for making jelly!

 I have a lot of PINDO PALMS, also known as Jelly Palms. I can dig specimen trees from my fields or I have these in containers starting at 15 gallon size 

I have some beautiful pindo palms for sale. These are 5-7 feet with a 1-2 foot trunk. Larger sizes available. 

Field Grown to 12 feet

  I have larger containerized trees up to 8-10 feet tall. I can also dig these straight from the field.

Pindo Palms can be trimmed in two ways for different looks.  Notice the difference in the look of the trunk  between the Straight Cut and the Diamond Cut.  This one is trimmed with a Straight Cut.
